Savor - Savor more, waste less

Inspiration

We were inspired by various food sustainability apps that are making a difference like nowaste, goodtogo, farm Idek and many more

What it does

Savor is a food sustainability app that’s helps users reduce wastage by providing features like report tracking, inventory management, recipes and budget planning

How we built it

We used the methods of desk research, competitor analysis, online ethnography, user surveys and interviews, user testing, crazy eights, designing wire frames and prototypes

Challenges we ran into

The 24 hour time limit required us to work continuously without any break. As the topic was vast there was a lot research to be done

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We pulled an all mightier and completed a comprehensive research that generate great insights for the key features

What we learned

We realised food wastage reasons that we have also faced but ignored. Designing the app helped us also learn how to avoid food wastage

What's next for Food sustainability

We are looking to gain feedback and develop it further
