What inspired you?

My fitbit is great at telling me my fitness data, but it has no utility beyond just being interesting. Then I thought, if airlines have mileage cards for rewarding people for travel, why don't we have mileage plans for the miles I run?

What did you learn?

I'm an industrial designer by trade. My focus has been almost completely around footwear design. In doing this project, I have gotten exposed to tech and in a way that really demystified it and pulled back the curtain for me.

How did you build your project?

The whole group worked together to solidify the concept. I was responsible for story telling and visual design, Kristian built the website.

What are some challenges you faced?

I'm not sure about the rest of the group. But for me, wrapping my head around the technical details was challenging but really satisfying.

What are you proud of?

I think we all should be really proud of the level of finish that we accomplished in less than a week: CAD model, Renderings, Physical model, Website integration and pitch deck all in around 100 consecutive hours is pretty mind blowing.
