Inspiration

I decided to do a small solo project dedicated to learning Unity as much as I could in the time frame.

What it does

You can walk and jump (and fall).

How I built it

Challenges I ran into

I had a lot of issues getting the animations to link correctly with the correct movement states.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

I drew and animated the player character myself. (Unfortunately this ate up a lot of the time so I couldn't implement any more mechanics.)

What I learned

I learned a lot about how Unity works, which was my whole goal to begin with!

What's next for First Platformer

Fix the jump animation and add way more mechanics, then build an actual level!
