Inspiration

we noticed people with many expenditures and transactions (e.g people having SME business, and operating multiple accounts) have issues doing their business transactions accounting, and doing statistics for their business transactions. They also have issues tracking payment, knowing how well their business and sub-business (business branches) are doing. There is no way for them to track their expenditures, and this makes their business thrives in making a good decision based on previous account statements and statistics.

What it does

FinTrack is a financial management website where you can manage your businesses, track payments and transactions for all of your businesses, and use your business statistics to manage your business and be more productive in order to achieve a better result.

How we built it

FinTrack was built using the mono API, and business owners will be able to add all their business accountant track how transactions are being made on them, compare branches transactions, check statistics for all branches and individual branches, and use the result gotten to manage the business.

Challenges we ran into

I had a little difficulty getting the right API to use since our targeted audience is Nigerians.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I am proud that 1 was able to conduct user research to check if our idea is valid, I empathized with our targeted users in order to know what they say, think, do and feel. I was able to brainstorm ideas and come up with solutions to our problem statements. i also conduct research in order to create a pitch deck and be able to show investors what problem my product will be solving, and a high fidelity prototype design was made. The project is in its engineering stage and will be live as soon as I'm done.

What we learned

I learnt a lot from the project, and the project taught me how to never give up despite being unable to find team members.

What's next for FinTrack

FinTrack will be one of the best problem-solving products, and I will keep on conducting adequate research to make the product more better and easy for users to use.
