Inspiration

Healthcare should be simple—but in reality, finding the right clinic at the right moment is still confusing, slow, and frustrating. People waste precious time searching, calling, and guessing. We wanted to fix that. Our goal was to build a tool that makes healthcare discovery instant, reliable, and location-smart. That’s how Find My Clinic was born.

What it does

Find My Clinic is a smart, location-aware web application that instantly shows users the clinics closest to them—along with full details like specialties, timings, and services offered. In a few seconds, users can:

Automatically detect their location
Explore nearby clinics on an intuitive interface
View addresses, contact info, services, and timings
Navigate without confusion or long searching
It’s designed to be fast, accurate, and frictionless, so users get the care they need without delays.

How we built it

We engineered Find My Clinic with performance and usability in mind:

React.js for a responsive, interactive UI
Browser Geolocation API for precise location detection
Mapped clinic data structured for scalability
Netlify deployment for fast, continuous, zero-downtime hosting
Clean modular components to make the app easy to expand Every part of the system was built to feel seamless and reliable.

Challenges we ran into

Handling inconsistent geolocation permissions on different devices
Ensuring accurate distance calculations and map updates
Cleaning and standardizing clinic data
Keeping the UI minimal yet powerful
Fixing build + deployment conflicts during integration These challenges pushed us to refine our architecture, improve our error handling, and optimize performance across devices.
