💡 Challenges We Faced
Building Family Hub AI presented several technical and design challenges.

Family management spans many domains—calendars, finances, travel, safety, groceries, tasks, and documents. Designing an experience that unified all of these without overwhelming users required careful planning and modular architecture.
2. Context-Aware AI
A key challenge was ensuring the AI could understand family context across different modules while providing accurate, relevant responses. We solved this through structured prompt engineering and context-aware workflows.
3. Real-Time Synchronization
Keeping calendars, grocery lists, tasks, and notifications synchronized across multiple family members required efficient real-time data handling and conflict resolution.
4. Performance
Interactive maps, AI features, and real-time updates can become resource-intensive. We optimized rendering, minimized unnecessary API requests, and improved caching to provide a smooth experience.
5. Privacy & Security
Family Hub stores sensitive information such as financial data, documents, emergency contacts, and schedules. Security was a top priority, with authenticated access, role-based permissions, and secure cloud storage integrated into the platform.
