Short Description

Have you ever thought of making a memory based on a photo from a satellite? Well, we have (among other things). We made a website where people could design their abstract photo based on the location input. So, did you go on a date and it just so happened that a satellite captured your it? Does your LinkedIn timeline look basic just because you don’t know what to put there? We designed a simple step by step platform, where you always end up with something nice. First input your location. Here we chose Ljubljana. Then pick the time you are interested in looking up. Now comes the creative part. You can choose one of many available filters. Each produces a unique image that you can then put on various mechanise items such as fine print, cups, hoodies, bags… or download it for free like social media cover photos or just save it as a memory. The merch can be ordered through the website which would be its main revenue stream. Our idea focuses on a different kind of use of the Sinergize data where we see a bigger commercial opportunity of how this could be more than just a sentimental memory. For example, we could do exhibitions and a series of pictures that explain and prove the bigger environmental problems we have. With UX we followed principles of a minimalistic and modern approach and focused on the user. To retrieve the data from the Sinergize servers we used Javascript and sentinel hub. Our hackathon demo is a proof of concept that one day might come to live as shown in this design The team behind all this is sticking together even if we physically can not.
