Inspiration

The lack of apps that cater to the people who have mobility impairments.

What it does

Empowerment and Safety: It has two options: one is for people without impairments and they could simply tap the buttons to summon help tailored to their needs, the other option is for those with mobility problems and utilizes winks, blinks, and smiles.

How we built it

We used Swift on Xcode, the SafeTrek API, and ConversationalUI, and Google Maps (a part of the Google Cloud Platform).

Challenges we ran into

In every step we ran into some sort of issue.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We successfully completed the app, and in doing so helped broaden the scope of apps related to people with mobility impairments.

What we learned

We learned how to use Swift with Xcode, Github, CIFaceFeature, ConversationalUI, and how to use the Google Maps and SafeTrek API.

What's next for EyeAlert

Potential expansion to eye-tracking.
