Last year we went to the Rakuten Tech Conference and there was a fireside chat with the founder of Carousell and ViSenze. Their talks occur simultaneously lead us to realise the power of digital tools like visual search for enhancing shopping experiences. however, to our dismay, many e-commerce sites have already deployed digital tools to enhance their users' experience. Then upon more research we realised most of the commerce is still conducted through brick-and-mortar stores. Yet, not many digital tools are provided to enhance their shopping experiences. Thus, Eva is here to bridge this gap in the offline retail experience.
What it does
Eva is like a retail personal assistant that provides shoppers digital tools to mainly enhance their shopping experiences in brick-and-mortar stores. However, Eva also takes into consideration of the growth and significance of the e-commerce space and accommodates them on the shopping catalogue.

Inability to attain more listings of various fashion brands to achieve a comprehensive catalogue.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Building a viable digital catalogue that is easy-to-use and user-friendly. A myriad of filter functions to enable more customised and personalised shopping experience to look for products and items in need.
What we learned
To compliment offline and online shopping experience will enable the increase in overall sales. Emerging potential in O2O strategy despite the rise and dominance of e-commerce today.
What's next for Eva
We would very much like to bring this product to the market after more iterations and polish. This will be the next true test for us as we end our challenging journey in Hack & Roll 2019!
