Inspiration

Waze crowd sourcing.

What it does

Reads crowd density in a geojson fence.

How we built it

We read the users location and send position back via web-sockets into geoJSON

Challenges we ran into

Getting a users location in the most accurate way via wifi.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Getting multiple users to determine the density. Tracking user in and out of zones

What we learned

React-Native is our new BFF.

What's next for EDC Crowd Density Meter

Wait times for things like bathrooms, water stations, gates and more

Hello, we are team Thumbaholics! The name of our App is EDC WAVVES

Our App is taking everything Waze has and translating for a festival.

Say you want to go to the bathroom. You can find the one closest to you with the shortest wait time.

For example your in the bathroom line, the app would know your there and prompt you to add your feedback manually.

Say your trying to chill, you can open this app up and find a unpacked stage to check out.

Say your trying to get to the hottest most packed show. You can open the app and find a stage that packed.

These are great ways make sure your crowd is not wasting time and staying happy.

Then we can get into promotion angles with thing like “Who ever creates the most Wavves gets some type of reward”)
