Inspiration
The recent and ongoing pandemic has left many people worried and concerned for their well being. As 2020 high school graduates, we were left with a virtual graduation and many school events unfinished. We believe that the general public should have quick and easy access to important diseases around them, COVID-19 and beyond.
What it does
This app will let people deftly browse a map with color-coded markers for diseases of all kinds near them. There is also a list view for a more comprehensive overview.
How we built it
We designed this app with Adobe Illustrator.
Challenges we ran into
The greatest challenge we ran into was designing a layout that lets users quickly and easily find the information that is important to them.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We're really happy with the final aesthetics that our app displays. Following Google's Material Design guidelines, we were able to manufacture a clean yet effective app.
What we learned
We learned how minor adjustments in placement and color can have a major effect on the overall design of a product.
What's next for Double Time Disease Tracker
Our next step is to transform our prototype in to a fully functional app.
