Important Technical Note regarding Teams Integration
Dear Jury Members,
I am providing this note to ensure a smooth evaluation of the project. Due to competition rules, I am unable to modify the code at this stage; however, I have identified a specific edge case regarding the Microsoft Teams integration that requires attention.
Issue Description
A compatibility bug occurs when the "Set work location" field in the Microsoft Teams application is active.
- The Problem: If this field is set to "Office" or "Remote", the CrewRadar status page will encounter a plugin crash.
- The Requirement: For the plugin to function correctly during your evaluation, this field must be cleared and left empty.
Reason for Current State
Since the submission deadline has passed, I have strictly adhered to the rules and halted all development. This issue stems from the application not yet being configured to parse the specific work location data string provided by the Teams API.
Post-Evaluation Roadmap
Immediately following the evaluation phase, I plan to implement a permanent fix that will:
- Successfully retrieve the work location information from Teams.
- Display the status appropriately within the CrewRadar interface to enhance the user experience.
