CORONA HELPMAP
Das neue Corona-Virus/Covid-19 kann schwere Atemwegserkrankungen auslösen und ist extrem leicht übertragbar. Um die Verbreitung zu bremsen, sollen Menschen zueinander Abstand halten. Das öffentliche Leben ist vielerorts bereits enorm eingeschränkt. Daraus ergeben sich Schwierigkeiten im Alltag - und Chancen für eine neue Gemeinschaftskultur. Sowohl der private und soziale, als auch der kommerzielle Kontext sind davon betroffen.
Corona Helpmap bringt Helfende und Hilfesuchende schnell und einfach in Kontakt. Wir sind ein weltweites Vermittlungsportal für Nachbarschaftshilfe und Sicherung der gesellschaftlichen Infrastruktur im näheren und weiteren Umkreis. Corona Helpmap kann weltweit von Privatpersonen ebenso wie von Organisationen, Verbänden, Einzelhandel oder Selbstständigen genutzt werden und deckt somit ein breites Zielgruppenspektrum ab. Hierfür bietet die unkomplizierte Nutzung die ideale Plattform. Über die Map-Funktion erhalten Helfende und Hilfesuchende einen schnellen Überblick, über bereits bestehende Gesuche und Angebote, in ihrer Umgebung und können ohne eine Registrierung mit anderen Nutzern in Kontakt treten. Die Nutzung des Portals selbst ist kostenfrei. Anbietende und Suchende von Unterstützung agieren selbständig und freiwillig.
Das Ziel der Corona Helpmap ist es, Zusammenhalt zu fördern, Solidarität zu zeigen und vor allem eben: in Zeiten der Krise hilfsbedürftige Menschen mit freiwilligen Helfern zu verbinden. Aufklärung über das Virus und entsprechende Schutzmaßnahmen zur Vermeidung der Verbreitung des Virus sind dabei ein grundlegender und äußerst wichtiger Bestandteil. Helfende und Hilfesuchende sollten sich deshalb an allgemeine Hygiene- und Desinfektionsvorschriften halten.
Wie geht es mit unserem Projekt weiter? Wir möchten, dass die Corona Helpmap weltweit als Plattform nutzbar wird, um Menschen in Not schnellstmöglich und unkompliziert in ihrem Umkreis miteinander zu verbinden. Um die Daten unserer Nutzer zu schützen, obliegt die Kommunikation von Adressen und Klarnamen den Nutzern selbst im direkten Kontakt mit anderen Usern. Die erste Kontaktaufnahme erfolgt dazu zunächst nur über die Plattform.
Das Tool entwickelt sich durch seine Nutzer*innen, es ist angedacht auf Feedback zu reagieren und entsprechend neue Funktionen zu implementieren. Die Zusammenarbeit mit offiziellen Organisationen, Ämtern und Einrichtungen wird ebenfalls angestrebt. Um das Potenzial der Plattform und der Nutzer in Zukunft voll auszunutzen zu können, streben wir außerdem die Offenlegung des Source Codes an, um Entwicklern auf der gesamten Welt die Implementierung von sinnvollen Tools und Funktionen zu ermöglichen. Dies soll auch nach der Krise die Möglichkeit schaffen Menschen und Organisationen schnell und unkompliziert miteinander zu Verknüpfen. Um Hilfe genau dort zu leisten, wo sie benötigt wird.

The new corona virus/Covid-19 can cause severe respiratory diseases and is very easily transmitted. In order to slow down the spread, people should keep their distance from each other. Public life is enormously restricted in many places. This causes difficulties in everyday life - and opportunities for a new community culture. Both the private and social as well as the commercial context are extremely affected.
Corona Helpmap brings helpers and people seeking help into contact quickly and easily. We are a worldwide agency portal for neighbourhood help and securing the social infrastructure in the nearer and somewhat wider area. Corona Helpmap can be used worldwide by private individuals as well as by organizations, associations, retailers or self-employed persons and can therefore cover a broad target group spectrum. The uncomplicated use offers the ideal platform for this. The map function gives helpers and people seeking help a quick overview of existing requests and offers in their area and allows them to contact other users without registration. The use of the portal itself is free of charge. Offering and searching for support act independently and voluntarily.
The aim of Corona Helpmap is to promote cohesion, to show solidarity and above all: to connect people in need with volunteers in times of crisis. Information about the virus itself and protective measures to prevent its spread are a fundamental and extremely important part of this. Helpers and those seeking help should therefore follow general hygiene and disinfection regulations.
Next steps: We would like the Corona Helpmap to be used worldwide as a platform to connect people in need as quickly and easily as possible in their vicinity. To protect the data of our users, the communication of addresses and clear names is the responsibility of the users themselves in direct contact with other users. The first contact is initially established via the platform.
The tool is developed by its users, it is intended to react to feedback and to implement new functions accordingly. Cooperation with official organisations, offices and institutions is also being considered. In order to be able to fully exploit the potential of the platform and its users in the future, we also aim to disclose the source code to enable developers around the world to implement useful tools and functions. This should also create the possibility to connect people and organizations quickly and easily after the crisis. To provide help exactly where it is needed.
