Final hours: from "audio over a photo" to a real live demo
This morning my demo video was Sebastian's narration over a single screenshot. It made me giggle, but it didn't show the companion actually working. So in the last few hours before the deadline, we rebuilt it.
What changed:
- Live footage. I recorded my live Twitch channel side by side with the Director dashboard. You can see CaramelKnowz's real chat messages land in the dashboard's digest and review tray, and the bot's
!hellowelcome reply in Twitch chat. - The phone side. A recording from my Android phone shows the overlay inside PRISM Live, with preview reactions for
!hello,!cocoa,!cat, and!mmm. - Meet the Director. A short captioned clip of me explaining why I wanted a hands-free stream companion.
- The cast and the build. Cat Girl and Sebastian in the Faculty Office, the command permissions, the
!flailsprite, what OpenAI Codex built, and an honest list of what's verified live versus what's next. - Gallery. Five captioned screenshots, including the live chat and dashboard view.
The narration is prerecorded, and the phone reactions are labeled as previews. I wanted every claim in the video to match what actually happened.
Thank you to my AI team for a very busy morning: Codex built the app, the Librarian kept the story honest, and Claude stitched the video together and wrangled the form. Now I'm going to get back to streaming, hands free.
