Inspiration
because of we faced a problem in public transportation in our country.
What it does
system would provide with the complete information about the different trains running, in android app, using the available internet facilities and the Google mapping Concepts.
How we built it
In this project we propose such a real time train tracking system using the global positioning system (GPS) and communication of information through Ethernet Concepts. The system proposed enables communicating the real time information about the train position and also the number of passengers inside the train using sensors attached/integrated.
Challenges we ran into
choosing an appropriate components, plus understanding detail specifications about them.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
android platform is flawless with IOT technology.
What we learned
put it simply, teams don’t work without teamwork.so we know more how a team be organized and managed properly, teamwork is a better way to work!
What's next for City Train Information System (CTiS)
hopefully including it for smart city project.
