Inspiration
Climate change is a major issue in the world today. It is a global issue and affects everyone. Over the past few years, the world has started to experience a huge increase in temperature, and the effects of this increase are becoming more and more severe. The effects of climate change are not just the temperature, but also sea levels rising, and other environmental changes. The main reason for changes rising in severity is because the general population is not aware of the effects of climate change, or they choose to not do anything about it.
Objective
The objective of this project is to educate the general population on the devastating effects of climate change and help them understand what they can do to help stop these effects.
How we built it
I first researched. I researched the effects of climate change, found official sources and tools I could use, and compiled them for later. Then, I started making the project page by page, making sure to incorporate all of my research.
Challenges we ran into
Incorporating the data in a way that makes it easy to understand.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
This project was my first time using netCDF files. netCDF is a file format for multi-dimensional data that can be read using programming. I played around with it for quite a while, but eventually got the hang of it.
What we learned
How to use netCDF files, the devastating effects of climate change, and how we can help stop them.
