Inspiration
I wanted to create an addictive play-to-earn game and connect it to the blockchain. Polygon seemed to be the best fit because of the high speeds and low transaction fees.
How to play
-Visit help page to set up your wallet (note: if you are adding the polygon testnet to your networks for the first time you must refresh your browser) -WASD keys on keyboard to move -SPACE to shoot (only if you have a power-up) -Collect as many coins as possible while avoiding zombiez and pits of death -Touching zombie will kill you (if you have power-up you have an extra life) -Falling off the map will kill you -Claim the coins collected after connecting to your metamask account -Visit shop page, and mint an NFT using the coins you just collected
What I learned
I learned a lot of things from this project. Building a side scroller game is a lot of fun, and combining the high speed, low transaction cost of Polygon was really easy to integrate even with very little solidity experience.
