CarbonQuest is submitted for EurekaDev 2026. Here is what is in the project.
What it does CarbonQuest builds a climate twin of your year in India. Pick a persona or move the sliders (commute, flights, electricity, diet, spending, waste) and watch your footprint, grade and climate danger meter update live. Then tick real actions to see what each one saves, and check the road to 2050.
What is new
- Live footprint ring with an A to E grade and your biggest source named
- Comparison with India (about 2.0 t), the world (about 4.7 t) and the 1.5°C level
- Seven real actions with yearly savings, plus climate badges
- Road to 2050 pathway
- A Method and sources section: CEA grid factor, UK DEFRA, Our World in Data, Hot or Cool Institute, Poore and Nemecek, Scarborough et al., IPCC
- A one-click judge demo
Also added
- Pitch video (2:50): problem, solution, how it works
- A 4-page write-up with the model, example results and references
- Open-source code under the MIT license
