We’ve designed streamlined user flows for image management, browsing, and insertion within Confluence, enhancing ease and efficiency:

Upload & Manage Images

Users can upload images to specific areas on their Confluence site (space-specific or global collections).

Steps:

  1. Navigate to the desired collection (either a space-specific or global collection).
  2. Use drag-and-drop or the ‘Upload’ button to add images.
  3. Uploaded images appear with metadata (title, date, uploader) for quick reference.
  4. Users can then download, update or delete images in their library.

Image Browsing & Insertion

Users easily browse through the image library and insert them into Confluence pages.

Steps:

  1. Open the Confluence Editor
  2. Type /image and select 'Capable Image'
  3. Use the search functionality to locate specific images by name.
  4. Click Insert to insert the selected images into the page
