A small update on CampusSense!
What started as just an idea is slowly turning into something we can actually build and demonstrate.
With CampusSense, we’re working on a simple problem we see around us — campus infrastructure issues often get noticed late or take time to reach the right people.
So, we’re exploring a system where we can:
Capture or upload a photo of an issue Use AI to identify the possible defect Understand its risk level Mark the issue on the campus map Notify the maintenance team Add new examples to improve the system over time
We’re also working on GridSense, which can help detect unusual electricity consumption and raise an alert when something needs attention.
There’s still a lot to improve, but seeing the idea slowly become a working prototype is really exciting.
