Building Calcivium: the first step

Calcivium started from a problem I know personally: calculus can make capable students feel as if they simply are not good enough for university.

I wanted to create something that makes the learning process feel less overwhelming. Instead of presenting students with a wall of formulas, Calcivium will break calculus into smaller lessons, guided exercises, challenges, and a visible path of progress.

The project originally had the working name CalcQuest, but I recently renamed it Calcivium. The new name feels closer to what I want the app to become: a place where learning calculus feels like a journey, not a punishment.

I am currently developing the app in Flutter, refining its learning paths and interface, and preparing the integration with Firebase and RevenueCat. There is still a lot to build, but this is the first public record of the journey.

Next step: update the app with its new identity and complete the first functional learning experience.
