Inspiration:

The inspiration behind BUZZ AI was the recognition of the common challenges that students face in accessing and managing educational resources. These challenges often include difficulty in finding relevant study materials, and getting answers to academic queries. The team was inspired to develop an AI-powered chatbot that could address these issues and make the learning process more accessible and efficient for students.

What it does

The chatbot uses OpenAI algorithms to understand the student's learning preferences and needs. It then provides personalized recommendations for educational resources and provides answer based o the prompt given by the developers.

How we built it

UI: For UI we used Adobe Illustrator and Figma Front-End: For Front-End we used HTML, CSS, Javascript, Tailwind Back-End: For Back-End we used Node.js, Express.js, Socket.io, MongoDB, Vultr Cloud Server

Challenges we ran into

During the project, the main challenge was to manage the API calls between the core server and the OpenAI API. Putting it all together within 24 hours was difficult process for us.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Creating a full stack web application which includes custom UI, FrontEnd and Backend within 24 hours.

What we learned

We learned that a person can work in a team without sleeping for more than 3 hours and it was quite shocking. Jokes aside, We learned how to work in a team, work on our strength and help each other out with our limited knowledge and resources.

What's next for BuzzAI

Learning Style Recognition: BUZZ AI will look to integrate and analyzes how each student learns best. Whether they are visual learners who prefer graphics and videos, auditory learners who benefit from listening, or kinesthetic learners who need hands-on experiences. Preferences and Interests: Understanding a student's interests is crucial. If a student is passionate about astronomy, BUZZ AI ensures that they receive resources related to space and astrophysics, making learning more engaging and motivating.
