Bloom Again is a self-rediscovery app for empty nesters. It helps people rediscover who they are, tracking hobbies, relationships, and personal growth. Users can get connected within the community, tracking local events that incorporate user's interests using a sorting algorithm. Transitional periods in life can be difficult to navigate, but it is never too late to Bloom Again.
Challenges
Throughout the design process, we faced many challenges, specifically within the overall theme and layout of the app. We knew from the start we wanted to incorporate nature to represent growth, but struggled between the visual theme. Eventually we decided on a tree, with flowers blooming representing each milestone or step forward, while still incorporating a modern twist.
