Blood Chain
Inspiration
Many people around the world need blood, but not everyone knows whether they can donate. I wanted to create a project that would raise awareness of this issue and help save lives.
What it does
The platform allows you to find out whether a person is suitable for blood donation (according to WHO criteria) and the ability to register as a donor, see which hospitals need blood, etc.
How we built it
Everything was done on the Django framework, and the Frontend was done on Html, CSS, Bootstrap and JavaScript.
Challenges we ran into
The most difficult thing was to create the ability to switch between languages
Accomplishments that we're proud of
I can confidently be proud that the project is much higher than the MVP level and is ready for use.
What we learned
I learned how to create cards on the website and several languages, as well as what criteria are needed to become a donor.
What's next for Blood Chain
The project is ready for launch and will be used to recruit people to donate blood.
