A better way to search merchants that accept bitcoin in the world
What it does
It helps users to easily find out merchants that accept bitcoin, by proximity, by countries list, by categories, by name, by map. It generates usefull statistics about the diffusion of shops in the world.
How I built it
I wrote a PHP parser that grabs all bitcoin points; i developed an Android app to view them.
Challenges I ran into
Coding with native PHP and Java, without any framework or library/addon.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
Categorize most of the shops in countries/cities and categories.
What I learned
I improved my "academic" coding skills.
