AVA — The Enterprise Intelligence Agent
Inspiration
Enterprise software has spent decades helping organizations capture information, but not understand it.
CRM systems store customer records. Meeting assistants summarize conversations. Project tools track tasks. Phone systems record calls. Slack captures discussions.
Each application knows one piece of the story.
None of them understand the complete relationship between people, conversations, meetings, projects, and commitments.
We asked a simple question:
What if employees never had to search for information again?
What if they could simply ask an AI employee:
"What do we know about this customer?"
That vision inspired AVA.
AVA is the conversational interface to the Real Bots Intelligence Platform, where every interaction contributes to a continuously growing Enterprise Intelligence Layer.
What it does
AVA transforms Slack into an Enterprise Intelligence Agent.
Instead of switching between Salesforce, Google Workspace, meeting notes, project systems, and communication tools, users simply ask a question in Slack.
AVA can:
- Prepare users for customer meetings
- Summarize previous interactions
- Surface customer relationship history
- Recommend next actions
- Connect information across enterprise systems
- Help teams make faster, more informed decisions
Rather than answering questions from a single application, AVA brings together context from multiple business systems into one intelligent conversation.
How we built it
AVA was designed as a Slack-native AI agent backed by the Real Bots Intelligence Platform.
The architecture separates the conversational experience from the intelligence layer.

Conversation Intelligence
When a user asks a question, AVA determines the intent, gathers relevant context from connected systems, synthesizes the information with AI, and responds directly inside Slack.
This architecture allows new intelligence modules to be added without changing the Slack experience.
Challenges we ran into
The biggest challenge wasn't building another AI chatbot.
It was designing an architecture that moves beyond isolated AI assistants toward a unified intelligence platform.
We wanted to avoid creating another application that only understands its own data. Instead, we focused on building a foundation where multiple intelligence engines contribute to a shared understanding of customers, projects, and organizational knowledge.
Balancing a long-term platform vision with a focused hackathon prototype required careful prioritization. We concentrated on delivering a compelling Slack experience while designing an architecture that can grow over time.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
- Created a clear vision for an Enterprise Intelligence Agent instead of another chatbot.
- Built a Slack-first experience that makes enterprise knowledge conversational.
- Designed an extensible architecture that can connect Salesforce, Google Workspace, meetings, projects, and future data sources.
- Demonstrated how AI can move beyond answering questions to recommending meaningful next actions.
- Established a foundation for a continuously learning enterprise intelligence platform.
What we learned
This project reinforced that the future of enterprise software isn't another dashboard.
It's conversation.
People don't want to search through multiple systems for information—they want one trusted AI that understands their business.
We also learned that Slack is an ideal interface for enterprise intelligence because it already sits at the center of daily collaboration. By combining Slack with connected business systems and AI reasoning, organizations can reduce friction and make institutional knowledge accessible to everyone.
What's next for AVA — The Enterprise Intelligence Agent
AVA is the first step toward a larger Real Bots vision.
Future releases will expand AVA with four complementary intelligence engines:
- Meeting Intelligence — Understand what happened in every interaction.
- Relationship Intelligence — Maintain a living understanding of customer and partner relationships across meetings, email, CRM, and future integrations.
- Execution Intelligence — Track commitments, projects, and recommended next actions.
- Conversation Intelligence — Learn from voice conversations and communication patterns to provide richer organizational context.
Together, these engines will continuously contribute to a shared Enterprise Intelligence Layer that helps organizations remember more, understand more, and act with greater confidence.
Our long-term vision is simple:
Every interaction becomes intelligence.
