Coronavirus and many other infections that are dangerous to health and life, brought from outside, exacerbate the problem of nosocomial infections.
"The most dangerous germs in the hospital may be those you bring with you"- https://www.sciencemag.org/news/2017/05/most-dangerous-germs-hospital-may-be-those-you-bring-you
The problem of bringing infections to the hospital from outside is widespread throughout the world.
For example, in Europe, 1 in 15 people contracts a Hospital Acquired Infection. HAI leads to longer hospital stays and can result in death. Patients and staff unconsciously spread dangerous germs. Despite all prevention measures, still more people die from HAI than from traffic accidents.
"The burden of healthcare-associated infection in Ethiopia: a systematic review and meta-analysis"- "The national prevalence of healthcare-associated infection remains high. The most common type of HCAI was surgical site infection, followed by urinary tract infection, bloodstream infection, SSI and UTI, and respiratory tract infection. The overall prevalence was highest in surgical, gynecology, and obstetrics ward. Hence, infection prevention and control should be a priority agenda in healthcare with due emphasis for surgical patients"- https://tropmedhealth.biomedcentral.com/articles/10.1186/s41182-020-00263-2
"Up to 40% of patients at risk in Ukraine Despite the lack of reliable data on health care-associated infections in Ukraine, WHO estimates that up to 40% of patients contract infectious diseases while receiving medical care. Specialized forms of health care, such as surgeries, impose a greater risk of exposure to infections for both patients and health-care workers. One of the options for preventing infections from entering the hospital may be this solution, which received recognition at one of the crowdsourcing competitions.
Early prevention of the introduction of virus bacteria into the hospital space. Most patients go to the stage of registration and appointment of the time and date of admission to the doctor before going to the doctor. As a rule, registration takes place through telephone coordination of date and time or through a computer. At this level, after receiving the date and time of arrival, the computer registration system may have a preliminary reminder system for the patient. The system one day before or hours before will give an SMS or voice reminder to the patient about the rules and measures that the patient should perform before visiting the doctor. there may be a mini precautionary video. (A link is provided to a google drive with an explanation of the idea a little more - this temporary view will be changed)
