Arc Math is a two-year-old startup. It is a Mathematics Education Research and Learning Center. It was founded in May 2018 with a vision of creating a culture of Mathematics Education where the founders wanted to make sure that their learning centre works to let the child explore the why behind the how. Arc Math was a bootstrapped startup which became self-sustaining almost after 1.5 years of its incubation. The startup envisions to continuously learn and provide the finest Mathematics Education which is engaging, enjoyable and conceptually sound. We at Arc Math work to imbibe both the technology and pedagogy. We have developed an interactive platform that helps children to form these concepts sequentially. This interactive platform is made keeping in the technology, pedagogy and subject content knowledge. It is a next-generation online platform developed using advanced technology and is based on the framework proposed in the famous research by Punya Mishra & Matthew (TPACK) on introducing technology in education. In simple words, the platform is a combination of Technology, Mathematics Pedagogy and Content Knowledge. Interactive elements used in the platform go much beyond the traditional use of videos. It uses interactive elements which have been tested and validated with students to provide better learning outcomes and conceptual development. Our interactive book utilises the immense opportunity technology provides. These books are fun to learn and full of: Concept Games, Interactive Videos, Visualisation, Interactive Activities, Drag and drop puzzles which provide the students the opportunity to self-assess and have a hands on digital experience with real-time feedback. Arcbook is a child-centric and conceptually sound mathematics e-learning program developed with extensive research by mathematics educators. This innovative program focussing on Primary Mathematics is a balanced combination of interactive videos, worksheets and simulating activities/games. The student and the school will get access to all the learning material by creating an account.
