Inspiration
We wanted to simplify cybersecurity monitoring by combining Splunk and AI to automatically detect suspicious activities and generate threat insights.
What it does
AI Security Incident Analyzer analyzes security logs, detects risky users and IP addresses, and provides AI-powered threat recommendations.
How we built it
We used Splunk Enterprise for log analysis, Streamlit for the user interface, Gemini AI for threat analysis, and Python for integration.
Challenges we ran into
Learning Splunk, integrating Gemini AI APIs, handling API limitations, and connecting multiple technologies together.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We successfully built an end-to-end AI-powered security monitoring dashboard with automated threat analysis.
What we learned
We learned Splunk dashboard creation, AI integration, cybersecurity analytics, and building practical AI applications.
What's next for AI Security Incident Analyzer
We plan to add real-time monitoring, automated alerts, threat scoring, and email or Slack integrations.
