Inspiration
Safety for all.
What it does
It helps the user to prevent it from walking on dangerous/unsafe places. Our warnings include robbery, fires, strange and possibly dangerous people, etc.
How I built it
My team and I used a framework called Flutter, based on the Dart programming language. We also used Visual Studio Code for writing functions, as well as Android Studio for making use of the Virtual Device Manger.
Challenges I ran into
I didn't have enough knowledge of the Dart/Flutter development environment, but in the end I learnt how to successfully implement all kind of widgets that we needed in our app.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
I made the design of the app icon and my team told me it was great. I also developed some coding skills, because Flutter uses widgets for its environment (which is totally new for me).
What I learnt
I learnt the value of teamwork and to be a better communicator with my friends in work-like situations. I also had the opportunity to work in what I think I'm good at and, overall, I helped with the project in general.
What's next for 42:Kixtek
We would like to develop it further, finish it and publish it as a prototype to check whether someone might be interested in helping us with financial aid, either supporting us or buying it.
