Inspiration
Students today rely on multiple disconnected tools for studying—one app for timetables, another for notes, another for doubt-solving, and separate platforms for revision. This fragmentation often leads to poor time management, loss of focus, and increased stress, especially during exams. ZYPHER was inspired by the need for a single, student-centric platform that intelligently supports planning, learning, and revision while keeping the experience engaging and stress-free.
What it does
ZYPHER (Study.fm) is an all-in-one AI-powered study and focus app designed exclusively for students.
Generates AI-based study timetables from exam and syllabus details
Provides a notes management system to add, view, edit, and delete notes
Offers an AI chat assistant for doubt-solving, explanations, and study guidance
Converts long study material into short summaries for quick revision
Transforms text and YouTube links into podcast-style audio content
Uses a retro-style, gamified UI to make studying engaging and less overwhelming
All features are integrated into a single, unified platform.
How we built it
We designed ZYPHER with a student-first approach, focusing on simplicity and usability. The application integrates AI models for timetable generation, summarization, and conversational learning. The UI was intentionally built in a retro, game-inspired style to improve user engagement and reduce cognitive fatigue. Each module—timetable, notes, AI chat, summarizer, and podcast generator—was developed as part of a single workflow to ensure seamless interaction between features.
