Inspiration

Small and medium-sized businesses deserve better software.

For years, businesses have been forced to combine separate applications for CRM, finance, HR, planning, projects, communication and marketing. Every new tool solves one problem while creating another: disconnected data, duplicate work, expensive subscriptions and fragmented workflows.

We believed AI made it possible to rethink business software from the ground up.

Instead of adding AI to an existing ERP, we designed an AI-native business operating system where every module shares the same business context and AI becomes part of every daily workflow.

That vision became Zynthoro.

What it does

Zynthoro is an AI-native ERP ecosystem built specifically for small and medium-sized businesses.

The platform unifies twelve business domains into one intelligent workspace, including CRM, planning, finance, invoicing, accounting, HR, project management, operations, marketing, communication, compliance and AI Studio.

Rather than synchronising information between disconnected applications, every module works from the same shared data model, creating a single source of truth across the organisation.

Four specialised AI assistants support different business functions:

• Zyntha — Marketing, SEO and content creation, powered by Google Gemini.
• Thoro — Workflow automation and operational support, powered by Google Gemini with advanced Claude capabilities available on higher plans.
• Zyona — Business strategy, analysis and growth, powered by Anthropic Claude.
• Zynthoro Assist — Platform guidance and contextual support across the entire ecosystem, powered by Anthropic Claude.

Every assistant is specialised, but they all work with the same company data, allowing organisations to automate work, improve decision-making and eliminate repetitive administrative tasks.

How we built it

Zynthoro was designed as a cloud-native, multi-tenant SaaS platform.

The frontend is built with React, TypeScript and Tailwind CSS. The backend runs on FastAPI (Python) with MongoDB as its primary database.

Google Gemini powers high-speed AI tasks such as content generation, productivity workflows and operational assistance. Anthropic Claude provides advanced reasoning, strategic guidance and intelligent document processing.

The platform automatically routes requests to the most appropriate model based on the assistant being used and the customer's subscription tier.

Supporting services include Stripe for subscriptions, Resend for transactional email, secure authentication, audit logging and AI interaction history.

Rather than treating AI as an add-on, every core business module was designed to work together with AI from the beginning.

Challenges we ran into

The biggest challenge was not integrating AI models.

The real challenge was creating an architecture where multiple specialised AI assistants could securely work with the same business context while remaining focused on their own responsibilities.

Building shared business intelligence across finance, CRM, HR, operations and projects required careful system design, continuous testing and extensive optimisation.

Another challenge was ensuring that AI responses remained relevant to the organisation's own data instead of generic prompts, while maintaining performance and scalability for a production environment.

What we learned

Building an AI-native business platform taught us that different AI models excel at different tasks.

Google Gemini provides exceptional speed and efficiency for operational workflows, marketing and productivity.

Anthropic Claude delivers deeper reasoning for strategic business decisions, complex analysis and contextual guidance.

Instead of forcing one model to solve every problem, combining specialised models inside a unified business platform produces better results, lower costs and a significantly better user experience.

We also learned that AI should simplify business software—not make it more complicated.
