AI agents are starting to spend money on data, compute and API calls. Today there are two ways to fund them, and both amount to a blank cheque:
- A private key. The agent can move everything in the wallet, so one prompt injection empties it.
- An API key with credit. The limit is a setting on someone's server, and nobody asks the person paying before a big charge.
People don't pay like that. We carry cards. A card is three things: a limit, a kill switch, and a human on the other end who approves unusual charges.
ZyloPay already runs all three in production. People tap Apple and Google Wallet passes on real POS terminals, and payments settle in USDC on Monad in about 800 ms. The payer signs a spending cap once, never holds gas, and approves large payments on their phone. So we asked a simple question: what if we gave the same card to an agent?
