Inspiration

Inspired by the Enneagram, RPGs, the Sims (yes) and generative collections, Elimbo is a project about understanding ourselves to accept & value the others. And as my first Web3 native project, I want it to be built using Web3 principles and technologies, by slowly turning it into a DAO backed by a social token.

Convinced that communities are what makes NFT collections successful, I decided to make the project in a way that encourage collaboration, interaction & derivatives to build the Elimbo Universe, rewarding the creators with the $LIMBO token.

A collaborative multiverse

Currently, most fictional universes (Marvel, Harry Potter, The Hunger Games, etc) are copyrighted and creating on top of them is "infringement". But what we see is that people naturally want to expand the stories that they love by creating what's currently called "fan art" or "fan fiction", but because of copyright issues they can't make money from their creations. I want to build an open project to allow everyone to create their own "fork", because these are what actually add value to the original project.

NFTs allow us to store unique data forever on the blockchain, and as the Elimbo Multiverse grows, the original 9,999 tokens will have more value.

Vision

More than an avatar project, Elimbo is an attempt to create an open world where collaboration is welcomed, ideas are not a "property" and where all creators can be rewarded for the value they create.
