Inspiration
I got inspired by the world of arts curation. It is very traditional in the sense that it is powered by a winner takes all culture. I would like to test an environment in which curators get to review random content.
What it does
I enables artists to submit their pieces and be featured in a dashboard that picks pieces ramdomly.
How we built it
It is a next js app with typescript. It enables the usage of a subgraph deployedo retrieve nfts from the Zora platform.
Challenges we ran into
Getting the VRF to work with the subgraph.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
After a lot of learning, being able to submit contracts that are deployed to a testnet.
What we learned
Contract creation-deployment-testing. Subgraph creation-deployment. Front-end integration with smart-contracts.
What's next for Zora-random-dashboard
Being able to retrieve a random number that the main nft contract can consume and put it in the front end for others to pick the nfts and review them.
