Inspiration

This project was created as a good start to our first hackathon. This seemed like a good challenge for a group of freshmen to try out.

What it does

It gives you a day-to-day layout of the stats of a Zoo Like the money made and best animal of the day.

How we built it

We use python to create data that we then put into a database and use the database to output a GUI.

Challenges we ran into

Getting the database to work and all the processing code was difficult to understand and work with.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

This doesn't seem like a freshmen-level project and we are proud even after the 13 hours of work we got it done with time to spare.

What we learned

We learned a lot about project development and how to work with databases with python.

What's next for Zoo Management System

We want to use Django to bring the management system online.
