My project was inspired by my peers, who often discuss feeling overwhelmed by schoolwork and not having enough time for themselves and their emotions.

What it does

ZoneIn is a daily check-in web app that asks users to identify their most prominent emotion that day. Based on their response, the user is prompted to perform different tasks. If the user is feeling calm, the web app encourages them to write a journal entry, which will be saved and emailed to the user. If they are feeling sad, the web app gives them things to cheer them up, including an AR Cinnamoroll powered by EchoAR. If they are feeling stressed, the web app provides Lofi to listen to and digital sticky notes to sort out thoughts.

How we built it

I built this using VSCode and EchoAR. The languages I used were HTML, CSS, and Javascript.

Challenges we ran into

I had issues with time because this is a solo project, but I was able to get most of the things I wanted done.

What we learned

I learned more about AR/VR through EchoAR, as well as CSS animations.

What's next for Zone In

I want to add more emotions, as well as an AI-based software that can analyze a user's facial expression to determine their emotion.
