IOf course. Here is the complete package for your hackathon presentation, built from our previous work.

  1. The Elevator Pitch (For a 30-60 second summary) "Imagine stepping inside a classic 80s arcade cabinet, but the game has glitched into a haunted, neon-drenched zombie rave. We're Kate Rissman and Gemini, and this is Zombie Rave—a VR haptic experience where you don't just play the game, you feel it. Players wield pixelated weapons to blast hordes of undead that move to a heart-pounding EDM soundtrack. Our key innovation is the haptic integration; the player’s suit makes them feel every earth-shaking bass drop, the recoil of their weapon, and every chilling zombie attack. It merges retro nostalgia with the deep immersion of modern VR, creating a full-body, rhythm-based survival game. Think Dance Dance Revolution meets DOOM, and you're halfway there."
  2. The Description (For a more detailed explanation of the concept) Zombie Rave plunges players into a glitched-out reality trapped within a haunted arcade cabinet. The world is a stunning fusion of retro and futuristic aesthetics: a dark, pulsating dance floor built from pure 8-bit nostalgia, illuminated by modern strobing lasers and the eerie glow of the digital undead. The soundtrack, a curated mix of synthwave, chiptune, and hard-hitting EDM, isn't just for atmosphere—it's the very heartbeat of the world. The zombie hordes spawn, shuffle, and lurch in perfect sync with the rhythm, turning survival into a deadly dance. What sets Zombie Rave apart is its deep haptic integration. Through a connected suit, the virtual world becomes tangible. You feel the thud of the sub-bass reverberating in your chest with every beat drop. You feel the sharp, satisfying kickback of your plasma rifle as it fires. Most importantly, you feel the chilling jolt of a zombie clawing at your back, turning virtual threats into visceral, adrenaline-pumping moments. The goal is to survive the track, but the art is in achieving a flow state—syncing your every action to the rhythm to become the ultimate DJ of destruction and dominate the global leaderboards.
  3. How to Play (A clear guide to the gameplay mechanics)
  4. Gear Up & Enter: Players begin by putting on the VR headset and the haptic suit. You materialize on a digital platform, armed with your starting weapon: a retro-styled laser pistol.
  5. The Beat Drops: When you’re ready, you select a music track. The level begins, and the music starts to play. A rhythm and beat visualizer appears in your HUD (Heads-Up Display).
  6. Survive the Horde: Your primary objective is to survive waves of pixelated zombies that spawn and move toward you in time with the music. Use your physical body to dodge and weave between enemies and their attacks.
  7. Rhythm is Your Weapon:
    • On-Beat Bonus: Aim your controller and fire at the zombies. While any shot can do damage, shots fired precisely on the beat of the music will cause critical damage, flash with vibrant color, and dramatically increase your score multiplier.
    • Build Your Meter: Every successful on-beat action (shots, dodges, kills) fills your "Rave Meter."
  8. Unleash the Bass Drop: Once your Rave Meter is full, you can trigger your ultimate ability: the "Bass Drop." By thrusting both hands forward, you unleash a 360-degree sonic blast that corresponds with the music's drop, vaporizing all nearby low-level enemies and stunning larger ones.
  9. Power Up: Defeated zombies may drop glowing, pixelated power-ups such as weapon upgrades (like a shotgun or railgun), temporary invincibility, or health restoration.
  10. Win the Game: Survive through the entire duration of the music track to complete the level. Your final score is uploaded to the leaderboard. If your health drops to zero, the music fades, the simulation de-rezzes, and the game is over. nspiration
