💡 Inspiration

Sometimes it's hard to filter through Instagram and Yelp posts, so we've merged them. We take the time out of finding your next spot, so your Instagram feed is always on point!

💻 What it does

Zing enables you to search for trendy restaurants, cafes, etc. near you. Check out the details of the place along with our unique rating system. All in all, it "enhances social media".

⚙️ How it works

1. User needs to Log In/Sign Up.
2. User can search for restaurants, cafes, etc. based on their location.
3. Then, user will be redirected to another page with the list of results of restaurants, cafes, etc. near them.
4. User will receive the details of the place along with its unique rating system.

🧠 Challenges we ran into

One of the biggest challenges for us was the implementation of getting the information of various Instagram-worthy restaurants, which we eventually managed to achieve successfully.

We are happy that we completed the project in this short frame of time, and we learned a lot from this hackathon.

We learned how to work with API, collaborating together as part of a team, and using GitHub's many features to their fullest potential.

Required to install and run the software:

Installing and Running

From the project folder, run these commands in console (terminal) to install dependencies and run the app:

npm install
npm start
