Inspiration
We were inspired by Japanese and Egyptian mythology to create an anime immersive experience about choice and responsibility of a father when thrown into a disaster. Emotion and care were focal points as we wanted people to feel the weight of protecting a loved one.
What it does
This pulls on viewer's emotional strings to put themselves in the shoes of an individual who remains strong in a hopeless situation. It inspires people to never give up and to allow love to heal the world and their problems.
How we built it
We built this project in Unity using WorldLabs, TRIPO, and Pico.
Challenges we ran into
We ran into problems trying to reshape our idea using the AI software. Since it was our first time using them, we spent a lot of time troubleshooting and making sure everything works properly before we could begin development.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud of the world we created, and the in-depth mythology and culture which lies within. Though it is heavily influenced by Japanese culture, multiple cultures shine while telling a story about love and duty.
What we learned
We learned that AI tools work to create our idea. Not to reshape the idea. Ideas should never change to accommodate AI. The AI is used to make big ideas more feasible.
What's next for ZIGOKU OSIRIS
This project will be expanded to have more worlds for the VR users to explore. We are also building more interactivity for the player to feel like they are part of the story.
