Inspiration
Our inspiration was our aim to create a nobel idea to solve a world challenging problem
What it does
it is a web based AI model that detects the early stages of Alzheimer's disease using MRI brain scans.
How we built it
Our platform is a web based platform that was built with industry standard tools, frameworks and libraries. Our application was built using a monolith architecture using a monorepo based approach as provided to as by the organization. We used a monolith architecture because we felt that we are trying to bootstrap an MVP sort off. So it would be an overkill to use a microservice architecture. Our technologies are: Reactjs, Node/Express, css and python.
Challenges we ran into
- Ethical Implementations and constraints
- Struggled to find the right datasets and models ## Accomplishments that we're proud of Being able to complete this complex development in such a short period ## What we learned Prior to the hackathon we had little to no machine learning experience, but during the course of this hackathon, we were able to learn and implement an AI based solution to our project. ## What's next for Zhemied When we win, we intend to find and source for sponsors and resources to complete the project.
