INSPIRATION

It's such a great trouble finding your favourite movies on different OTT platform while your food is getting cold and that lead me to the idea of building this site, ZeusTV. Why not create one site that can directly tell you place to where to watch that movie/ show, instead of switching around on different apps.

What it does?

Zeus TV not only tells you the platform where you can watch that Movie or Show but also serves as a database for them. You can get to know almost everything you want to know about a particular movie/show from biography to cast members. You can also see the trailer and clips. You can read about each season and it's each episode separately. Not only this you can also see what all movie an actor from a particular movie or show have done in his lifetime, also can see his/her photos, biography etc. You can also watch all the movies of a particular franchise at one place in order like Harry Potter or Star Wars. There's also a FIND ME A MOVIE BUTTON which uses A.I. to find your perfect movie based on you given choices.

How we Built it.

I have a great experience in building movie website, i have created many of them. But everytime I create it, I try to make it more designer and try to add more functionalites to it. I have built this website with Python using Flask. I have used TMDB api to gather the data about the movies and shows.

Challenges I ran into

Earlier I used to create website with my friends who used to help me a lot cause I was new to css, and now I have to do alone, after struggling with css to achieve my acquired result i finally learned it.

Accomplishments I am proud of

I am proud of myself that i finally created a good-looking (not boasting, c'mon it's actually looking great). I also tried to make the site mobile friendly (basically 2 css one for desktop, one for mobile), which most of the site are not even today.

What we learned and what next for Zeus TV

I learned a lot, I learned CSS, I learned to work with flask all by myself. In the coming time, i will soon add comment section and add more integrations like booking tickets for movies directly from our site.
