Inspiration
I wanted to explore how AI can be used to create branded storytelling that feels cinematic, humorous, and culturally familiar. The idea of Zeus having a beard itch came from imagining how a simple grooming problem could escalate into something mythic. Turning a common product benefit into a god-level crisis felt like the perfect mix of comedy and visual spectacle.
What I Learned
How to merge brand messaging with narrative structure in a short runtime
How to maintain character consistency across multiple AI generations
How pacing, sound design, and comedic timing affect viewer retention
How to direct AI tools like Midjourney, Kling, and custom workflows to produce shots that match a storyboard
How I Built the Project
Scriptwriting I drafted a tight comedic script built around a three-scene structure: chaos in the city, the reveal of Zeus’s real problem, and a humorous resolution.
Visual Development
Generated characters, costumes, Olympus settings, and crowd scenes using AI image generation.
Ensured Zeus’s look stayed consistent across different angles.
Created backgrounds and props to match the tone of Ancient Greece with stylized exaggeration.
Animation & Video Generation
Used AI video tools to bring key moments to life: lightning storms, panicking crowds, Zeus scratching his beard.
Filled missing shots with manual animation in Premiere Pro (pans, zooms, motion for stills).
Editing & Post-Production
Mixed AI-generated clips with traditional editing techniques.
Added sound effects, music, transitions, and pacing that support the comedic beats.
Designed a final VO line that ties the joke and the product together.
Challenges
Keeping Zeus’s likeness consistent across multiple tools
Generating weather, lightning, and crowd chaos without artifacts
Balancing comedy with brand clarity in a very short format
Iterating until the visuals, sound, and timing all landed cleanly
