Inspiration

Our journey with Zerowaste365 began with a spark of inspiration - a shared commitment to make a lasting impact on the environment. Witnessing the growing waste crisis and its consequences ignited a passion within us to create a sustainable solution that empowers individuals and businesses alike.

What it does

Zerowaste365 is not just an app; it's a transformative force for change. It seamlessly combines AI-powered waste categorization, valuation, and measurement, providing users with the tools they need to take control of their waste management. With Zerowaste365, we've simplified waste reduction, making it accessible and actionable for everyone.

How we built it

Building Zerowaste365 was a journey of creativity, innovation and wit. "Good artists create, best artists steal" We used Universidad de la República, an Uruguayan Public University's model to show our idea. Challenges we ran into

As with any ambitious project, we encountered our fair share of challenges. We navigated the complexities of AI integration, tackled data accuracy issues, and fine-tuned our algorithms. Time constraints pushed us to think on our feet and find efficient solutions. It was a rewarding journey, filled with learning and growth.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

One of our proudest moments was when we managed to assemble a working demo in just one hour. This achievement showcased our team's dedication, technical prowess, and ability to adapt under pressure. Additionally, crafting a compelling pitch that captures the essence of Zerowaste365 was a remarkable astuteness and thinking power.

What we learned

Communication is key. Empathetic listening, and loving makes everything easy. Agency, responsibility, trust and drive go hand in hand. We also learned that no matter how well you plan, there will always be unexpected challenges. It's the ability to adapt and innovate on the fly that defines success.

What's next for Zerowaste365

Our journey doesn't end here. Zerowaste365 is just the beginning of our mission to create a waste-free world. In the future, we plan to expand our app's capabilities, explore new partnerships, and continue refining our AI algorithms.
