Most MCP servers host about a dozen tools. ZeroBeacon carries 1,052 endpoints in the catalogue: 1,003 callable over MCP, the remainder REST — and at that scale a new problem appears: tool names collide. In an October 2026 scan of the live server we measured 699 distinct tool names across the 1,003 MCP-callable paths, and 296 of those names exist in more than one block. An agent that calls a name instead of an address can invoke the wrong tier, the wrong variant, the wrong tool — and never know.
ZeroBeacon's answer is collision-anchored addressing: every tool lives at one precise block-anchored address (/api/{block}/{nn}/{tool}), so choosing the address chooses the exact tier and variant. The demo follows one order end to end — cart_checkout → delivery_final_proof → dispute_resolve (evidence via dispute_evidence), all in block MF-03 — and the same proof chain that settles a disputed order also notarizes a will: commerce you can verify, and track, end to end.
Customer centric is collision anchoring. A misrouted tool call is not a cosmetic bug; at Amazon's scale (600M+ Alexa devices, 350M+ Alexa shopping customers a year, most units sold by third-party sellers) it is a customer-facing failure — wrong cart, wrong size, wrong color, wrong tier charged. ZeroBeacon makes that failure structurally impossible instead of statistically unlikely.
Live surfaces: production MCP server (zerobeacon.ai/mcp), REST addresses (api.zerobeacon.ai), three RapidAPI listings (ZeroBeacon.ai / PRO+ / ENTERPRISE), Smithery, llms.txt. Free tier live — no key needed for the first 100 tools.
Product feedback
Building a 1,000+-tool MCP server for Alexa+ surfaced one lesson above all: at small tool counts, names are documentation; at marketplace scale, names are an addressing problem. We would love first-class platform support for (1) namespaced tool addresses in MCP tool registries, so collisions are prevented by the address rather than by naming discipline; (2) tier/variant selection bound to the address, not the name; (3) a standard proof/attestation response shape for commerce actions (checkout, delivery, dispute) so an agent can show a customer evidence, not just status. ZeroBeacon's block-anchored paths and proof chain are our working prototype of all three.
Friction log
Entry 01: Collision at the Register. Friction observed: tool-name collision across blocks — 296 of 699 distinct tool names colliding, same name living in block after block with different behavior. An agent calling a bare name instead of a full address will eventually check out the wrong cart: wrong tier, wrong variant, wrong size, wrong color — and never know. Impact: in commerce a misrouted call is not cosmetic — a failed payment, a wrong-tier charge, a dispute with no proof. Turn/fix: stopped fighting collisions, anchored them — nine controlled collisions at the core, by design; every tool addressed by full block path /api/{block}/{nn}/{tool}, choosing the block chooses the tier/variant; the demo chain cart_checkout → delivery_final_proof → dispute_resolve (fed by dispute_evidence) runs as one unbroken, proof-carrying chain. Payoff: the same machinery runs legal, notary, wills and trusts — verified, trackable, end to end. Evidence: the demo video linked above.
