Our project Zero Waste Management is the next step to streamlining a process much done by traditional means. This simplifies the process both for the client and the collector.

Inspiration

When we came across the difficult working of a waste management committee in the government, we decided to revamp it and give it a kiss of the new technology.

What it does

It streamlines the hectic process done by the "Haritha Karma Sena" making it more accurate and faster.

How we built it

We built it using Front end frameworks like HTML, CSS and Bootstrap. JavaScript was also used.

Challenges we ran into

Lack of knowledge in backend frameworks really posed to be a challenge.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Finished everything in the given time and got it working to exactly how we imagined it to.

What we learned

We learned a lot of new technologies including backend technologies like JavaScript and also how to save data on localStorage.

What's next for Zero Waste Management

Building up a proper server and inculcating IoT and AI technologies to automate this process in the near future.
