Zero Pollution is a non-profit organization that raises public awareness about pollution in hopes of assisting people in understanding the causes, effects, and solutions to pollution. Zero pollution was formed by three students who are passionate about addressing environmental issues and pollution. By working together, we intend to offer possible solutions to pollution and have a positive influence in the fight against climate change, but we need everyone's help, so take action today to help stop pollution.
We created a website to create awareness and encourage others to participate in eradicating pollution. We made sure the website is accessible and easy to use. The project page on the website was set up to engage everyone in solving problems to pollution. To encourage people to take action we will be giving out certificates to anyone who successfully completes any of these projects. This way people can learn to adapt to the habit of caring for the earth. Creating Awareness about the harmful effects of Environmental pollution was the main reason this project was set up. People need to be aware of the harmful side effects of pollution and its Impact on the world. The event page was set up to provide online programs on pollution awareness and ways of eradicating it. We are planning on creating a summer immersion program to get students involved out of school in which students work together with their peers to create ways pollution can be solved . A take action button was set up to encourage people to volunteer and take part in the no pollution movement. We will be giving out volunteer hours to volunteers. Although we found out about this Envirothon late we were able to utilize our time and bring forth an amazing result. During this Envirothon, my teammates and I learned to be tolerant, each time a deadline was set to finish a particular part of our project we would carrying each other along and help each other with individual tasks. We learned to work together not just as cofounders but as friends. We built a very beautiful friendship that would probably last beyond this hackathon.
Zero pollution definitely does not end here. We hope to use the reward from this hackathon to build a solid foundation and achieve our aim.
