Inspiration
Small businesses often struggle to extract insights from scattered business data due to limited technical knowledge, time, and access to data analysts. We wanted to simplify business analytics by allowing anyone to understand their data simply by asking questions in natural language.
What it does
Zero-Configuration Business Data Agent enables users to upload CSV or Excel files and ask business-related questions in simple English. It processes datasets, performs calculations, and generates meaningful insights through charts and tables. It also identifies missing information instead of generating unsupported answers.
How we built it
We designed the solution using Python and Streamlit for the user interface, Google Gemini API for natural-language understanding, Pandas and openpyxl for data processing, DuckDB for analytical queries, and Plotly for interactive visualizations. The system connects AI-driven question interpretation with actual data computation to produce evidence-based results.

- Introduce receipt image processing using OCR.
