Inspiration
Web3 transactions are often complex, requiring users to manage long wallet addresses, which can lead to errors and confusion. Zero-X was inspired by the need to simplify crypto transactions, making them as seamless as sending a message on social media. By integrating Twitter usernames, we make blockchain transactions more accessible to a wider audience.
What it does
Zero-X is an AI-powered crypto wallet built on the Electroneum chain. It allows users to send and receive funds using Twitter usernames instead of complicated wallet addresses. The platform also supports airdrop creation and participation, providing a seamless experience through a browser extension and a web application.
How we built it
We built Zero-X using:
- AI & LLM: Groq for NLP and AI Agent to create transactions.
- Blockchain: Electroneum Chain for secure and fast transactions.
- Web3 Integration: Wallet mapping and transaction handling.
- Frontend: A browser extension for Twitter integration and a web-based dashboard.
Challenges we ran into
- Twitter API using: Using twitter API is notoriously hard and expensive
- Twitter Integration: Mapping Twitter usernames to blockchain wallets required overcoming API limitations.
- Security: Ensuring safe transactions while avoiding phishing risks.
- User Experience: Simplifying complex blockchain interactions without compromising security.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
- Working with Electroneum was seamless and easy as it is similar to Ethereum ecosystem which our team is familiar with.
- Successfully integrating AI to facilitate Web3 transactions.
- Creating a seamless wallet mapping system with Twitter usernames.
- Building a functional browser extension that allows direct transactions from Twitter.
- Implementing airdrop functionality to enhance user engagement.
What we learned
- The importance of intuitive UI/UX in crypto applications.
- Optimizing AI models for blockchain-related queries.
- Handling Web3 security challenges and ensuring user trust.
- Overcoming API rate limits and restrictions when working with third-party services.
What's next for Zero-X
- Enhanced AI Capabilities: Improving AI’s ability to understand and execute more complex transactions.
- Mobile App: Developing a mobile-friendly version for broader accessibility.
- More Social Integrations: Extending beyond Twitter to platforms like Discord and Telegram.
