Inspiration
Coming from a renewable energy asset management background, we've seen how inefficient, expensive, and opaque sourcing for renewable energy has been despite its strong demand.
What it does
We then set out to develop a platform to tokenize renewable energy power purchase agreements and renewable energy asset investments. Renewable energy developers can then utilize our platform to get access to renewable energy off-takers (customers) and funding (investors) for their projects, while returns will be automatically channeled from off-takers to investors via smart contracts.
How we built it
Built it using a Next JS frontend and deployed the smart contract using Hardhat and Alchemy. Used IPFS storage to store the document data and NFT metadata

Working with the ERC1155 token standard and storage using IPFS
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Implementing the smart contract and interacting with it using the Next JS app.

What's next for Zeonergy
We are looking to accelerate our idea into an actual startup and build a business around it utilizing the connections we have in the renewable energy asset development space.
